I would love to connect with you over the next weeks...and then meet up in GL at the graduation.  Once PIR is over, our kiddos are going to have become good friends, and I would love to have a "local" Texas support group of Moms to stay connected with, too.

Yes!!!! Here I am.......... I've been hoping to connect with other Texas families as well.

My son left for BC on December 2,  12 days ago but who's counting.  How about your son ?

We are from Wimberley in the beautiful Hill Country :)

I have mailed 2 letters as well as a card. Cant wait to get my "first letter" to hear all about his new world!!

Hi, Sharon!  Have you received any letters from your son?  I just got three this week - two in one envelope, one separate.  It was awfully good to hear from him.

Have you joined the PIR 1/23 for the 804 division group too?  Great dialogue going on there.

Hey there.... Sorry, I have not been on for a few days, trying to finish Christmas shopping, ugh!!!!

I did receive 2 letters this week on the same day. My husband texted me at work and told me, so I couldn't wait to get home to read them. It sounds like he has made some good buddies and they all are hanging in there.

Some of the things that he described were quit funny. Like he eats so fast, he's not sure if the food is really good or not lol!!

I see that you guys are from Spring? I grew up in Conroe, graduated and then we moved to Cypresswood.. We are in Wimberley now, in the Texas hill country. :)

Thanks for the link for the PIR.  Cant wait for 1/23...

we can mention their first names right?

Yes but no more

Our two older children were born in San Marcos!  We live in the Dallas area and our son is in Div 070 with PIR 01/23/15.  He left Nov. 24th and I have 5 more Fridays until I see him!!!!  I have mailed tons of letters and received the form letter and one written letter.  We missed his first phone call and have received 2 others.  He calls on my husbands phone so I have only been part of one of them.  Hopefully we'll get one for Christmas!
