barbara10/08...forgot to respond about the cat. I wish she would've gotten a little shock...maybe she wouldn't chew it again. I just put something on the cords that discourages thumbsucking in children. So far the cat things haven't worked!

So excited to send my son the tee shirt as soon as it arrives!

T-Lynn...OUCH! I am a dental hygienist and I was a dental assistant for 4 years while going to hygiene school. It sounds like your dentist rebuilt the tooth with pins and amalgam or did he/she use resin? At any rate...I wouldn't eat hard food on that tooth! Also...wait for your mouth to wake up completely before eating or it may be your tongue or cheek you are biting. Hope it feels better soon.

Hope all of you in the weather stay safe and warm. We are having unseasonably warm weather (for us) in the NW...60 degrees. Practically a heat wave.

Hugs and blessings to all!

HI

thank you. Now have to figure out how to get photos from camera onto here. Want to share baby shower pics. Then one hour after guests left , I broke back molar!

Now home sitting - waiting to go to work with left side of face - totally asleep! Dentist rebuilt the tooth and then filled it. something about a pin in it too. I cannot talk , so I know this will be something trying to teach Scientist to scouts.

Hi Judy and Welcome back Drama !!

Oh - he is smiling

talk later  hugs

T-lynn-the house is beautiful & the hutch too. I love antiques. Sailor is handsome as usual:)

Joshmom-4 wks on soft food-yikes! god bless him.

Blondie, such a difficult part of life for Wanda and her family. I hope things improve for her. Very glad to hear U.Bob is update. He sounds like quite a character. Con't prayers.

Shelly, yes, hard when they leave again.  Glad you had a good visit though.

Missmom-congrats to son & wife on their new home!

Youngestson-you're getting the hang of it:) I am sure he will get the packages. Let us know when you hear.

Judi1800-how exciting-I take it they've been there a long time?  How old are the grandchildren?

Drama- what a nice surprise for sailor-I am sure he will be smiling.  Don't they have something you could spray on those cords to make them taste yucky for the cats?  Doesn't her mouth get burned or zapped?

Cheryl-stay safe!  Good that you had time to prepare. This one sounds nasty.
My sister was in town for her granddaughter's 1st birthday and left earlier than planned to get home (Providence) before it hit. Gotta run for now, will try to post birthday pic later.

oh,and Blondie & any of you that drive country roads in the winter-my hat is off to you! Drove home from party Saturday on snow/ice covered roads. It was a snow/freezing rain coming down and you could not see any road markings! It was a long Slow ride, accidents, people driving way too fast. I tend to clench my jaw when stressed-and boy, was it sore by the time we got home!  Took an extra hour, but thankful we made it safely!

Getting ready to hunker down here in the Northeast. Wood is stacked, ice melt is bought. Grocery stores were nuts yesterday, but the basics were bought with no bloodshed.  2-4 inches of snow per hour tonight - tonight through Wed. morning. To my other NE dwellers stay warm, stay safe.
