What an experience for you! Sorry that Scott couldn't be there for the delivery though. Dog gone snow!! Praying for his safe travels soon to see his new daughter and family! He has had quite a year!

CONGRATS Lorraine!  Looking forward to a get together so we can see pictures!!!  Lover her name, Ariana  - beautiful!  My son has been on an underway, but sent good news on Sunday - he earned his Dolphins!  Can't wait to talk to him!!!

I have some news today. Our first granddaughter was born yesterday and I got to help with the birth. Our sailor is stuck in Maine due to the snow but Lanie is here in Michigan. We are thrilled to have Ariana Mae join our family. Scott will head here by Friday if the airports cooperate. Ariana weighed 7# 10 oz, 19" long and is a pro at nursing already. I took Kale home with me for the night and we'll join them today as Lanie heads home.

Kim, it did not appear on the site but did appear in the email. I am in the Coldwater area. Maybe we could shoot for somewhere between GR and this area. I think there was someone around Lansing and I know of at least one other Navy mom from this area.

I was wondering if there's been any get togethers on the west side of the state lately.  I would love to meet some Navy family over here.  I live in Cedar Springs, and work in Grand Rapids.  I know there are several Navy Moms in our local Blue Star Mother chapters that would probably like to attend, as well.  Happy New Year.

My email shows that I have commented here, but I don't see my comments here.  Do YOU ladies see my comment from yesterday?

Happy New Year! I don't post on here often but would love a get together in the Lansing area or somewhere toward the central/west side.
