Is this FRG FB a different page than the OA page?

Hello Canita28 and welcome. This weekend I am gông to Norfolk to attend a function with the FRG, I look foward to connecting with other OA family members. This week the FRG FB was visited a couple times by the Captain to keep us posted on the slow delivery of our care packages that we have been sending. Can't begin to imagine where they will store all those goodies, once they catch up to them! I heard from my sailor a couple of times so far. They sure are working hard, I was glad to hear they were able to spend a little time away from they ship and relax a little

Hello canita28! Two months down and 5 to go. I'm so glad to meet other OA moms. Let's all keep in touch and share any information.

Tysmon and Michiganbelle my son was one of the new sailors that just joined the Oscar Austin. We had gone to visit him in Norfolk and spent about 10 minutes with him when he got the call! I'm glad we got to spend a little time with him before he left but most of it was transporting him and his paperwork form one location to another and packing him up to go. Life in the Navy, lol.

I had heard from my sailor there were some new sailors on OA so I was thinking that some did meet them where they are at. I am glad that I have gotten a couple of calls when they get to a port

Hi casb8. My son is also on the Oscar Austin. Did your son join the ship mid-deployment or right before they shipped out from Norfolk?

Comment by casb8 on January 20, 2015 at 1:33pm

Hi, my son just joined the Oscar Austin.
