T-Lynn Wow. I used to pat myself on the back when I'd get patches sewn on for an upcoming meeting. I'm not worthy!

Comment by T-Lynn on March 1, 2015 at 8:20pm

This patch was a gift for a lodge leader. And my girl friend is still completing her regalia. Soon I can post a picture of her in skirt - blouse - crown - mocs - etc. ALL her bead work too.

My girl friends collar to her regalia. I believe this is Iroquois.

The two Council patches were also made into barrettes. Teh lower patch is an anniversary patch beaded for an auction.

HI

Oh Barb I thought the same thing about Kim's son breaking his foot.Beautiful bedspreads. hey look warm and inviting. Does it take you long to make one?

Yes, Kim pics are needed of your sweet little Valentine.  And share how your son is. Really sorry about his foot.

Blondie doing ok now?

And a possible meet and greet. make it happen ladies - and hug for us. Barb - I would love to go too.

Well Saturday's event is over - YIPPEE !!!! I was there from 9 AM to 4 PM. Began with a fellow scouter I trust and then ended up totally alone! My friend had to leave for work - BUT the DE was to come take his place and STAY !!!! He didn't - he left about 10 minutes after seeing me with at least 7 kids and their parents - who were asking about Cub Scouts and how to join!  I honestly cannot remember being so tired after an event. I feel asleep on the sofa when I got home. I am planning on telling the superiors that this DE left! And yes I remember Warrior Weekend. But there was always more than one of us.

Grandpa babysat Riker that day. Turns out Riker is an angel for Grandpa. Not much fuzzing for his bottle - does NOT cry when Grandpa changes his diaper and he didn't spit up! Guess we know now who is baby sitting more!

Today , I will finish beading the 7 patches. This beading is simple - no design - just repeated colors. But teh boys love them. Then I only have to calligraphy some Pinewood Derby certificiates and FINALLY I will be done with major scouting events. Now I have to figure out to be normal. Gee - maybe I can get on here more and gossip - clean the house - write that family letter --- I think I will do my first thought - get on here more and gossip :).

Will post a few pictures . Some will be of beadings I have done on some patches. I will try to find my girlfriends pictures of her bead work - get ready to be in awe when you see them.

Need to get after I post the pictures. Son is making dinner adn it is almost done and the Laundry Fairy s here again. hugs

Thanks Anti M.  My son is a corpsman working with the Marines.  Just wondering what is involved with the training. There really isn't a lot of information available.  Thanks again.
