For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Letyrod - la misma situacion con mi hija ya que tenia que hacer sus taxes...ella los hizo usando turbo tax en su computadora (lap top). Yo estaba haciendo facetime con ella mientras ella llenaba la informacion en turbo tax. Si tu hijo tiene otro W2 aparte del Navy, es importante que lo incluyes. Pero creo es mejor que hablen bien tu y el para que se pongan de acuerdo. Tal vez entro otros Sailors ellos saben de un lugar como HR Block a donde puedan ir.
AnaLee - pues si es dificil saber como va estar el clima por aca en abril. Mi hija se graduo el año pasado en abril 18...y estaba soleado pero fresco. Es mejor que traigas manga larga, tipo sueter o saco.
Yoanka - si te metes a la pagina del meet & greet ahi debe decir si estas apuntada y el numero de personas que pusiste. Pues me acuerdo que asi fue cuando lo hice yo. al menos que ah cambiado. Oh y cuando hables con tu hijo, mencionale que el dia de la graduacion en cuanto termine la ceremonia, que se quede el en su lugar y que ustedes vayan a donde va estar el, ya que ustedes van a saber su posicion y si, entre tanta gente, si el se mueve y empieza a buscarlos a ustedes, pues es posible que tardan en localizarse. Ya mero hermana!!! :)
AnaLee - hola! Estaba pasando por la hoja donde estan las fotos y mire que pusiste algunas de tu familia! Estan preciosas y se ven todos tan contentos! Hermana, solo como consejo y por medidas de seguridad, es preferible que no pongamos fotos de nuestros hijos/seres queridos que estan pasando por boot camp e identificarlos por nombre en este sitio. Se ha dicho que los RDC's (los entrenadores de boot camp) se meten a este sitio y se ven a alguno de los SRs y los identifican, esto les puede causar problemas...en forma de que los ponen entre ojos y hasta castigarlos por no protejer su identidad. No te lo digo por asustarte si no por precaucion. Despues de la graducion, esta bien si quieres poner una foto pero siempre ten cuidado de no identificarlos por apellido.
Los RDCs a veces son muy delicados y por cual quiere cosa, buscan razones por castigar a los SRs. y pues ya sabemos como es...si falla uno, le toca a todos.
hermanas, solo les comento como aviso y no por ser mala.
La proteccion de nuestros hijos es lo mas importante!
