Thank you Sylviar 14. I joined the group and then started looking at previous comments and noticed the dates. I was going to leave the group today and was glad to see your post. I've sent a request. Thanks again.

Good Morning Mom's. I'm new to the Sacramento area and have a SR 4 weeks into boot camp. Division 312. He's met a few others from Sacramento in division 311 or 312 but has not mentioned any names. Any mom's with an Sr in one of those divisions?

<See my new profile pic with Chrissy! I had  a good visit with my two sailors yesterday. I got to talk to them more since it was just the three of us. They had fun, we went wine tasting to 4 rooms open downtown , and they took me out to dinner at Bella Rosa. She bought me a bottle of wine and a wine glass from my favorite Scott Harvey.I think they bought wine from all the rooms! I lost count, lol They spoiled me! But boy can those sailors drink, they called me a lightweight lol! I just loved showing my new son-in-love our historic downtown. They went back to Sac after dinner, as it is closer to Aidan and my oldest daughter.

I saw a young teenage girl selling Girl Scout cookies yesterday. She reminded me of Chrissy,so I bought some cookies. Chrissy enjoyed girl scouts so much. I think that the girl scout program has helped her do so well in the Navy. I am so proud of her.

Welcome Leomom65.  My son left last summer for BC only 2 weeks after HS graduation.  He had PIR the last week of August and is now in SC in Nuke School.  I definitely have found the N4M website to be full of lots of helpful information.  I truly do love our FB group too and we try to get together at times too, so it's a good idea to join the group on FB.  If you have any questions, feel free to ask away.  It will help you so much to read up on everything to prepare yourself for this transition.  It definitely helped me a LOT!  Be sure to join your PIR group once your SR leaves for BC.  They will be your lifeline during that time.

Thank you for the warm welcome Paymaster!
I'm one of the newby moms and trying to connect.
My son's ship date is Aug 25, 2015.
He's going to graduate from HS this May and he will be turning 18 the same month.

I'm still trying to get informed on this process.
Being a member of this site has given me huge information already.. So thankful and blessed for everyone!
