The last of the kids left today!!  Got to spend pretty much all day yesterday with oldest son, wife, and 2yr old "almost made it as a flower girl"  It started out raining when they got to the trailer but after about a hour it turned sunny, Melanie had a nice little nap and then we went to the seal beach in La Jolla!!!  It was awesome.  I have never seen seals upclose and personal like that!!  Some mommas were nursing their babies.  It was so cool!!!  I wanted to touch them but wasn't too sure if they were THAT used to people so I just took pictures!!!  Today I have the blahs because everyone is gone again and the excitement of the wedding is over!!!  Bride and groom are in Cancun.  Waiting to see pictures!!!

Got a chance to do a little catching up on here - -

Blondie,

So sorry to hear about Lori!!!  Prayers for her family. Have a safe and fun trip to DC!!!

Vickyrun,

My other daughter is dating an Aaron also!!!!  He may be a future SIL but can't say for sure yet!!!!!  Wishing your daughter and new husband all the very best!!!!

Jean,

I hope you are feeling much better and the cough is going away!!!!  Are you able to work the rest of this week???  Praying you're able to get some important rest each day!!!  Get better soon!!!

Catsmom,

Congratulations to Crystal!!!  Hope she feels very confident as she starts her new school!!!  Wishing her all the best also!!  Snow???  Hail?????  Luckily all we had was rain!!!

Spyder,

The reception was wonderful.  I didn't even have my camera for pictures so I'm waiting to see what the photographer took.  I hope she got some nice shots of the view!!

Vickyrun, congrats on the wedding wishing them the best and hope the logistics work out. I remember when Rachael and Dustin were on opposite coasts! Fun times LOL

Anna, LOVE the picture!! Can't wait to see more. So very happy things worked out, though I'm sure a little rain wouldn't have dampened the festivities ;-) Enjoy your time with the family!

Jean, Blondie and Catsmom...hope ya'll get to feeling better! The weather has been insane I'm sure that isn't helping with all this illness. Cold and drizzly here today...rain and 60's tomorrow then chance of snow/sleet Wed! Yep doesn't help with the crud going around!

I'm going to grab a quick minute here to post an update.  Meeting up with son and dil in a minute to go to the seal beach.  Wedding was beautiful.  Rained early morning then stopped.  Held off until we were getting food which was set up outside on the patio.  Only a bit and two canopies were quickly set up.  Then it rained hard Saturday night!!!!!!  So glad it held off - you ladies praying made all the difference I'm positive!!!!  Flower girl fell asleep just before the ceremony so she wouldn't wear her shoes or sash, or walk down the isle!!!  No problem - son carried her while escorting me!!!!  Everything else was perfect!!!  I didn't cry during the reading which I did do during the rehearsal!!!!!!

I'll post one cute picture the photographer posted on her website.  Waiting for more to get posted.

You can just see her tiara she borrowed from her twin sister under her headphones.  The photographer labeled this Heros!!!!

Good Morning to Everyone

Blondie, I am right there with you. I cough until I puke. I was hoping to not cough so much today. We will see if they sent me home again or if I make it through the day. I feel better but the cough is horrible. I was watching my granddaughter yesterday, with the help of my 2nd son. He is always there to help. YEA!!!!. But My daughter came home to get some school work done when one of those coughing fits hit and she thought I was going to die. I promised her I wasn't but that it will run it course and I will be able to breath again in a few minutes. That was the 2nd person to tell me to go to the ER for more help. I keep trying to tell them that they really couldn't do anything other then a breathing treatment if my O2 is low enough. I just have to be patient. So Blondie I feel your pain. LOL.

Hi all, Happy Sunday,

Yes, I got wedding pics. I posted her Bride pic on my page here. They got married in Virginia  while he was there on leave. Then he went back to Spain. Her husband's name is Aaron, I think he has shore duty in Virginia now.  It is the second marriage for both of them. They seem happy. I couldn't afford to go to the wedding. But my ex and his new wife went and my youngest daughter and her fiancee went. So she did have family there.

I saw a young teenage girl selling Girl Scout cookies yesterday. She reminded me of Chrissy,so I bought some cookies. Chrissy enjoyed girl scouts so much. I think that the girl scout program has helped her do so well in the Navy. I am so proud of her.
