Good Morning to Everyone.
Happy Friday to All. We made it.
Vickyrun,
Thanks for that! it's taken me three years to come to terms with everything. I have gotten back on track with my sailor daughter and son but my youngest wants nothing to do with me I am hoping she will turn around one day. I have found much support on here and also thru peer and support groups/ Oh and by the way Happy Red Friday everyonel.
Hi all,
I understand how you feel jappyj, I was depressed for may years. My ex also tried to make me the bad guy. When I found peer support at a local MHA center I got on the road to wellness. I am healthier. I believe the combination of both professional help and peer support is essential to mental health. My relationship with my kids is better now.
Good morning all,
Sorry I don't post much, it's hard from work as they monitor everything. I work a pt job from home in the evenings and sometimes there are just not enough hours in the day. I do read all the posts that come in though, so I am update on everyone's activities.
This is suppose to be my Daughter's last weekend here in Virginia she is suppose to leave for Maine on the 13th however they do not have housing for her yet so she may be here a bit longer (i'm praying) but I know she wants to get up there and get settled. She is the only female in her rate on her ship she is a CS and their are only 8 of them so she can't even get an apt. with anyone so they are not sure what to do with her I guess. It's been so nice having her here and bonding with her it got our relationship back on track and I am happy about that we went thru some really stuff family stuff and she has come thru stronger and really knows how to deal with my depression now. The only thing that made me angry is that she told me her father wants to know why she bothers with me. Is he kidding even when I was hospitalized I was always there for her and she wasn't even invited to his wedding. I think he think it is a competition between us and it is not. sorry for venting have a great day everyone!!1
Good Morning to Everyone.
Blondie, have a safe and fun trip. You take care of yourself and don't over do it.
Anna, I did go to work everyday. I haven't been doing there mandatory overtime though. I figure all they could do is Fire me. Wait they already did. My last day is on the 27th. Looking forward to it.
If I don't come on tomorrow to say good morning to everyone, it is because I have to start work at 6 which means I have to leave the house at 5:15 to get there on time. Hopefully, I will get up early enough to do so but I just wanted everyone to know.
Blondie...safe travels! Try to rest on the plane sounds like you're going to need it. What we do to spend time with our kids LOL Give them all a big ((hug)) from us! Fill us in when you get back...if you're still coherent by then ;-)
Vickyrun, YAY for the phone call...so happy you got to talk to Chrissy...sometimes just hearing their voice can help us make it through the day!
