The 11 Service men and their families are in my prayers.  It broke my heart to read it on a local news network phone alert and just had to read it.  Lord have mercy on them and their families. Hold them in the palm of Your hand close to Your heart.  God bless our men and women in the Military and families.

LindaGirl I just heard about that on my way to work.  So very sad.  Prayers for the service members and their families at this most difficult time.

Please keep in your prayers the families of the 11 service members (7 Marines, 4 Army) whose helicopter crashed in the waters of Pensacola Florida, last night & are presumed dead. So, so sad.

Well one of the bad things about having a Sailor in Hawaii and you live on the East Coast... calls at 11:15 p.m. LOL - he forgot about our time change! I get up at 5:00 a.m., but it's always nice to hear their voices.

Storymom:

I will miss you! You always had info we could all trust. Any and every holiday there would be a reminder of that holiday with an appropriate (OMG, I cannot find the right word in my brain!!!!) picture.

Goodbye to you too Dee, Best wishes to your son as he enters civilian life!

A couple weeks ago I mentioned that my sons friend, who is Navy, had a motorcycle accident. Getting info was tough...guys just do not chat the way us ladies do. His surg was 6 hrs. From what my son said, before surg he could not feel one of his legs. He is moving around now...praise God!!!
