OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 809

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Received a surprise call today from my boy (man) he is sick in the hospital :( He should be back to good health in a day or two. He is on an IV with fluids and meds....he is in quarantine so to speak so as not to spread his nastyness with others. I was concerned but after speaking with him feel so much better. So glad he was allowed to call us and let us know. BC is the hardest thing he has ever done, but he is strong and will get through it. PIR for him is 4/10. I wish I could share his whole conversation...he made me want to cry...he made me laugh and he made me very proud. These young men and women we call our kiddos....are we not blessed to have them and love them <3
I got a call a couple weeks ago from my sick kiddo too. They are strong and will bond with the trials. I am so proud of them all!
Its hard when they are sick :) If they can get throught this they can get through anything...right? :)
