Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 810

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

did you find a discount flight? I am booking all this weekend. I am anxious as well. I look forward to seeing my lil guy.. My son leaves for Pensacola after. From what it sounds like?? Those staying need to check into Great Lakes directly after graduation (it is not at same place as boot camp). It takes awhile (like 5 hrs). Hopefully you will have longer time visiting if they are staying close by. It sounds like my son leaves day after --INSERT SAD CRY HERE

Glad to hear I am not the only mom not hearing anything. I also read from other BC mom's they can only write on Sundays? I know our children must be tired.. lol

Yes , going AIRR school. How about yours?

Misty everything I seem to read says they leave for Pensacola the day after. It also says they do not know until after PIR as well? On an AIRR page I rad they can have flight issues which keeps them till Sunday/Monday. I am planning on him leaving Saturday (insert sniffle now). I am going to stay until Sunday late in the day just in case I have a little more time. I figure worse case -- I get to see more of Chicago!

The not knowing is driving me crazy!

Hi everyone!! I am new to this and trying to find out anything I can. I do know i received our box/letter a week after he arrived! It was nice to just see his handwriting!!

Hi and welcome Jaybird! We are a small group so far. So excited to meet another 810 mom! My son is going to Mississippi following BC but heck yeah I've made my travel plans. Looking forward to talking to you more.
Hi there B,

Did you use the Navy website to book your room? I will do that today. Have you heard from your child yet (letter/call). I was wondering if anyone in 810 has received anything besides the box and grad info?? Hope everyone enjoys their Friday and weekend...

I actually called the Navy Lodge and made reservations.  Partly because I wanted to ask about adjoing rooms.  I talk with 810 moms here and on FB and no one has gotten anything other than the box and form letter.  I'm sure this little site will BLOW up as soon as one of us does.

Just saw a post on FB from 810.  A gf posted a pic of 4 letters in her hand!!!  RUN to the mailbox ladies, RUN!!!!!!

Is it on the Naval Training great lakes fb page.. Want to make sure I am on correct fb page. Also, will they post 810 division pics ever. I know the division is a tad more strict on certain things??

Jaybird, go to your friends link on the left and accept my request.  We can talk more detailed that way.

Did it work?? Lol i am on phone in grocery store..

It worked LOL.  I sent you a message.
