For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

AnaLee - en 4 dias veras a tu hija!!!!!!!! WOW!!! se de los nervios y la emocion que estas sintiendo...Ya recibiste la llamada de "I'm a Sailor"? si no, pues pronto te llegara. A cerca de decorar la puerta de tu habitacion, si prefieres decorar adentro, esta perfectamente bien. Como yo me quede en el Navy Lodge, me senti a gusto decorar la puerta y tambien pude admirar a otras puertas. Hasta me toco conocer a otra mama que si hijo estaba en la division de mi hija. Me gusta tu idea de decorar adentro y sorprenderla!! Sobre un regalo, yo le regale a mi hija un Challenge Coin con el nombre de su barco en el cual estaba en Boot Camp. Le gusto mucho pero me dijo que se lo guardaba por que no lo iba querer perder. Sabes si a tu hija le gusta leer, tal vez un libro de inspiracion o devocionales que puede leer y se lo puedes dedicar.

benmom - gracias por tus palabras! Pues si, ya salio el barco y solo Diosito sabe en donde estaran nuestros sailors y se que el se encargara de ellos! Ayer mi esposo encontro un segmento de la noticia de Norfolk en donde los reporteros estuvieron en la base en el pier de donde iban a salir los 2 barcos que salieron...hijole...se me salieron las lagrimas! cuando dices que se va tu hijo? me imagino que el barco de el tambien es parte de esta mision de los 4 barcos que se van para'ya.

@AnaLeeproud mom of paola, Gracias a Dios que ya merito vas a ver a tu hija, es un momento super especial cuando ves entrar a todos los sailor cuando se abre la gran puerta te lo juro que yo llore de la emoción es algo inolvidable, and cuanto a decorar la puerta yo no lo hice creo que por estar pensando en ver a mi hija no puse mucha atención en eso.
Disfurta cada momento cuando estés con ella y cuéntanos cuando regreses, Dios te Bendiga!!!!!
