N4M's Community Guidelines
and
OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Thanks, ladies, you are very kind!  All of us N4Moms veterans love helping you all!  I'm the "oldie goldie" on the N4Moms veteran "team"....both since I was the first one of the group on here (over 5 yrs now!)...and probably because I'm OLD---ummmm---olDER!!!...HA!  But I have been so proud of people like FTLW, CatMom, ellen, Lala Ribbon Queen, and others who have stayed on here after their PIR and contributed so very much to this site.  I am grateful for each of them!  Couldn't do it without them, and many times, they enlighten ME!  :-)

Hello All!

     "So do not fear, for I am with you;

      do not be dismayed, for I am Your God.

      I will strengthen you and help you;

      I will uphold you with My righteous right hand."

Good Morning!  There are so many amazing ladies on this site who show strength and character in their families!  The SRs take that strength with them to Bootcamp and will be rewarded for it!  Blessings to all of you!

Good Morning!

NikKis,

Your SR is probably fine by now as his letter was mailed on Monday and many write their letters prior to Sunday (sneak in during some down time).  The Ricky Crud is something all the SRs seem to come in contact with due to all the people from all over the world and the vaccinations~  ((HUGS))  Things will definitely get better for both you and your SR!!

Blessings!  This spoke to my momma's heart~~

     "A woman, when she is in labor,

      has sorrow because her hour has come:

      but as soon as she has given birth to the child,

      she no longer remembers the anguish, for joy

      that a human being has been born into the world."

DREW:  The 900 divisions usually have BattleStations during the beginning of PIR week.  It would be unusual for them to go the week before, especially if they are performing in the PIR that week.
