2 Days in BC! Missing my ABH from Texas.. So proud and love him so!

Looking for another Texas mom who's son left 4/15 from Houston. We got the 2 minute call Wednesday night. He sounded great but tired! Although I'm so proud I miss him. Would love to connect with another mom whose son/daughter left for BC on the same date. His rate is ABH. I would love to know what he's doing right about now. This is 2nd day in BC. My 16 year old daughter misses her bro. Love him so.

Hi Claudia,

My name is Lisa, it sounds like your son made a great choice. I too, was very nervous when he first came to us about 8 months ago and said he wanted to join the navy. We are so proud of him. He's 19 and I have a 16 year old daughter, at home. I been a little emotional (my daughter would say a lot emotional lol) I'm so grateful you responded, I was hoping to hear from another mom. My son is a ABH, what is your son's rate? This house is so quiet and it's only been 2 days. Lol!! I would love to know how it's going at boot camp. :)When he called Wednesday night he sounded good but tired. Hoping all is well. Is your 19 y/o missing your son like my daughter is missing her bro?
Hi. My name is Kelli. My son left this past Thursday. His rate is ET. I miss him with all my heart. He is a noble man and he wants to be a part of something that he can make a difference. We love him and can't wait to see him in 8 weeks.

Im waiting for the 8 weeks too!!! I want to order me a Navy Mom shirt but my youngest son says " mom really??" lol But looking at all the pics I see several moms dressed that way. What do you think?

Im starting to miss him. I caught myself going into his room and just look around. I went in an placed his closes neatly in his room. He left it very clean.  Fan is still blowing in there , I was going to stop it but I felt like I couldnt.  Crazy!!

I'm here for support. I will help with what I can. We're in this together.

I feel the same.  This website and all the moms on it has been a blessing.  I know we just have to stay strong and trust.  Thanks so much for your words of encouragement. :)  Still waiting for my box.......

Did you get your box already?

Thank you... .everyone is amazing here!!! Soooo much love and support!!!
