Welcome.....you will always find one of us on...almost always anyhow. The first deployment is especially hard because you don't know what to expect. Just be sure to always have your phone because you never know when you will get a call.
Jean...thrilled your first day went so well....yay!
Have a great evening everyone

Welcome Jrzygurl. I am glad you found us. What part of the country are you from?

Hi Ladies! I am new to this site. I stumbled upon it about a week ago. My daughter was commissioned last May and just left 6 weeks ago on her first deployment. I miss her like crazy! I am scared, proud, sad, and anxious all of the time. I feel like I am riding the emotional roller coaster. :) I am glad I found other Moms who are going through the same emotions or who have in the past. This is all new to me. I don't live near a base so I often feel removed from what is going on with the military and their families. I live in a rural community where not many community are even aware if you have a loved one serving. I am grateful I found you all!

Good morning all, Best wishes on you first day at your new job, Jean.

Chrissy and Aaron are back on the East Coast. I got a text that they were enjoying their California wine on their patio. Bittersweet feelings this morning. I am glad they had a nice vacation here, but knowing what is ahead will be tough. Does it get any easier? Idk

Good Morning to Everyone.

Happy Monday to everyone. Today I start my new job. Hopefully they will hire me permanently. Time will tell. Hope everyone has a wonderful day. Our weather today will be warm but the rain is going to be back on Tuesday. So that will mean my knees will start to hurt again. Yuck.
