Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 811 and 812

Be very aware when posting about your SRs who are in this division. Make sure you read the OPSEC rules (everyone should).

sjtina, cor and a couple more ladies will be joining this discussion to answer your questions about the "800" division.

Although your SR is still in BC, what they are doing may be slightly different from what the other divisions in this training group are doing. It is also recommended that you go into your "settings" (clickable link on the right side) and change your privacy setting to "private" and change everything to friends only.

Please still use the main wall to post general questions, and concerns, such as meet and greet questions etc. Specific questions regarding the 800 division should be posted here.

We “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion groups as often as we would like to, and the ladies helping out with the 800 divisions don't always get to the main wall as often as they would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there ladies!!!

Thank you Frogmom & Dad. I'm sure we will have plenty of questions for you. It's good to have someone in on this discussion that's been through it before.

I'm happy to see all of the families receiving calls from their SR's but I have to own to a serious amount of frustration at not seeing a single call from Div. 811.
Just got a call! Division 811 !!
Talking to our SR right now!

Please be vary aware of what information you post both on this web site and in private messages to each other. Remember although you are all in the same group you do not know each other! This division needs to be even more mindful of OPSEC/PERSEC.

We finally got a call about 8 pm Sunday night! It was so good to hear that he's doing ok.

I apologize if this question was already answered elsewhere but does anyone have any idea if they will have "cinderella" liberty where they have to be back each night or if they will be allowed away for the whole weekend?
They do have to be back each night and we had to sign ours in and out. So make sure you give yourself time to get back on base cause the line can sometimes be long

They have to return to GL each night. Our SR thought it would be at 8 or 9 pm.

There is no overnight liberty for any of the Sailors, that changed sometime in March or April of 2011 (I think). When staying in GL your Sailors must be back on base every night. The time they must be back to base can vary, even ship to ship. Be very mindful of the time and have your Sailor back to base early. "On time" in the Navy is lat

anyone got any more calls from DIV 812 since last week?  how often do you think they will get to call.  I only talked to my SR for about 15 mins and forgot to ask that question because he was trying to call so many people in 50 minutes.

No news is good news but any new news out there! Hope all are well!
