Martib, maybe we can get together if you have time when your in Washington.
Anna, sorry you got our stupid rainy cold weather. It wasn't suppose to come in until late tonight. I think they were wrong. Oh well, we need the rain. Just looking for the warmer weather soon, especially now that I am by a beach for lunch. Edmond's is a wonderful place to be working in the summer.
Hello everyone!!! Sorry I haven't been on in the past several days. Once again I don't have real reliable internet access so it takes quite awhile to get caught up!!! Up here in Northern Oregon now. Jean, I hope you were looking south cause I waved to you this weekend!!! I'm experiencing your cold, rainy weather and I don't think I like it that much. We want to go off and do some more exploring but not in the rain!!! Happy to hear your first day went well and you are liking this new job!!! I hope it works out for you like you're hoping!!! Best of luck to you!!!
DoubleNavyMom,
CONGRATULATIONS TO YOUR DAUGHTER!!!! So very happy to hear she finally is healed, passed the rest of her boot tests and is DONE with bootcamp!!!! I know you will be so happy to have better contact with her now. Where is she going for A school??

Jrzygurl,
I so understand the emotional roller coaster you are on right now. I will certainly keep your daughter in my prayers for a safe deployment. My son is on a ship over there somewhere. They keep moving from one hot spot over there to another and it's unnerving to say the least!!! I have gone through many blue candles!!!
Vickyrun,
So sorry your visit ended so soon!!! But it sounds like you had a really good time - except for that ex!!! Now you can start planning the next visit!!! Thank you for sharing the Blue Candle Event information for our new moms!!!!
martiB,
So good to hear from you!! Yes, we do have to live with that fact that they could suddenly be heading off somewhere any time!!! Hope all is well with your girl.
Blondie,
Glad to hear your girl is slowly getting stronger. Hope she continues for complete recovery!!
That's all for now!! Sure hope I didn't miss anyone!! I'll try to keep up a little better!!!
Thank you Blondie, Catsmom, and Vickyrun! It feels good to know you are not alone. I like the Blue Candle idea Vickyrun! I will have to get some. Sending prayers today to all of our Sailors!
