Heather, my DIL hated leaving NY, just loved Sarasota Springs. Made good friends there. My kiddos like the changing seasons so while SD will be good for a while, they will miss snow.

Do you have your stuff on the internet so that we could find it if we searched? Would love to see some of it.

wow, 1proudmama, that is so awesome.j That's what's so cool about infinity pools!

As long as we are talking about travel, this doesn't compare to 1proudmama, or Williams's fantabulous trip to Hawaii, and the other wonderful places you all have talked about, but I am going to Atlanta in a few weeks to compete on Family Feud. LOL I don't even watch it. But I do get a free trip to Atlanta out of it. Sweet trip for Nebraskans like us. Wish us luck.

Hey J's/S'smom! - I'm still doing the embroidering :) Renamed it Charming Little Stitches so I can start broadening my business for all ages. I have a couple of friends up in Groton, heard it was a beautiful place. Hope all is well for your nukes!

MichianaMom - Oh I miss Saratoga Springs!!! Such a beautiful place and was probably the best time i've had since my sailor joined the Navy. Best food. Tell him to enjoy it while he's able to! There's not another place like it. Crossing my fingers my sailor will get orders for shore duty there.

BsNukemom - Hi! Great to meet you :) This has certainly been an adventure for us. I can't wait to see what else the Navy has planned :)

went for drinks at the Ritz Carlton. Love this shot because you couldn't tell where the infinity pool and ocean ended and started.

Hi Heather - Welcome Back!  Although I didn't know you before, I agree, it's good to hear from someone who's been at it for a while ;-)  My sailor is in Norfolk on the Truman.

MichianaMom - great picture of your sailor & daughter!  So nice that she was able to visit him.  Last summer when our sailor was in BS we sent his college brother out for a visit - made my heart so happy for them to be able to spend some time together.

I think he has his oral boards this week, so he might be in that rumored May 22 graduation!

Hello, Heather! I've only been here a couple years, but it's great to hear from a Navy Nuke Wife.

My daughter made it up to BS this past weekend to visit my son over his 4-day. They went down to NYC for a little mini-vacation. I miss them both (daughter is in NC), but it makes my heart happy to see them having such a good time. So glad they got to have some fun together. Here they are in/by Rockefeller Center:
