My daughter got new orders and became attached to the USNS Comfort. I went looking for a group and found none so I decided to start one. I look forward to hearing from others that have had loved ones in the past or are now attached to this ship.

Hi All,

My son has been assigned to the Comfort and I'm wondering if there are any others on here too. He's been in the Navy for 6 years but this is his first time being assigned a ship and being deployed.

FYI...The Comfort's return has been pushed back to Tuesday due to the weather.

Hi Kadar we didn't get any info about the hanger. Our sailor said we would have to have clearance to get on base, but didn't tell us how.

Just last night I received the info for the helo squadron's arrival at the hanger. I don't know about meeting the ship. Maybe you will receive your info this weekend.

Hello, Anyone know the address where the USNS Comfort 2015 is coming in Sept 27th?  My husband and I are planning on coming to meet our son when they come in.  I sure would like an exact address.  Thank you all.

Does anyone know where they are now? I got an email from our sailor last week saying they have minimal Internet. Blessings Dale (CD Mom)

Glad to see there is a group for the Comfort's new deployment on N4M. If you haven't already, "Like" Continuing Promise 2015 on Facebook...there have been a few photos posted. This is DS's first deployment. I know he is very excited to be a part of this mission.
