For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Britefuture - Yes, I hope your husband is home safe & sound. I saw some more news coverage this morning and it's really sad the devastation being done. Very scary situation indeed.

J's/S'sMom - Yes, hubby agrees now that it wasn't as big a deal as he thought (and managed to put off for almost 5 years!). I'm just so glad that he finally got it done.....he's a difficult one to get in to the dr.....

Comment by britefuture on April 28, 2015 at 12:19am: Thanks everyone! It's one thing to watch this stuff on the news. It's entirely different when you're almost directly involved. I spoke to my husband, not too long ago. He said our beautiful city looks like a war zone and, in the morning, will be unrecognizable to most. They've closed schools, put a curfew in place for kids and adults, the National Guard has just arrived and firefighters are still putting out fires. Small ones anyway. The sad thing is. This was at the hands of young, high schools kids. At least, that's how it began. They've burned, looted and destroyed their own community. NonnaB-I wasn't there for the 68 riots, but I too was raised in Baltimore. Early 70's for me. I took pride working for that city. Loved wearing that uniform and taking care of the community that helped raise me. I pray you're family is safe.

Anyway, hubby is safe and promised he'd come home to me in the morning. I did speak briefly with my son. Didn't tell him about Baltimore. He sounded a little stressed about this next phase of his life. He doesn't know what a news channel is so I doubt he's aware, lol. Said that he would call me before he has his phone put on stand by tomorrow.

This sure is a different twist to our little game. We have been stuck on 2628 it seems like since I first posted it. Do we need to start recruiting :)

It saddens me to see this great city under siege again. Prayers to all the public servants who put their lives out there every day.
