Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 201 and 202

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Good evening!! Hope everyone has had a great week. I received several letters from my SR today, he's doing great and has met a lot of great people. He is really enjoying this experience. PIR is now only 5 weeks away. The countdown is on. Have a wonderful and blessed evening!!
we got letters today also. our SR is also doing well and is in good spirits
Awesome!!

My son is in unit 201 on ship 13.  I got a call from him this past Saturday (4/25).  He didn't sound very good at all at first.  He was very upset, basically crying saying he didn't think he was gonna make it. He was worrying about passing the book work, saying they told his unit they might push the graduation back a couple of weeks.  He said the guys won't stop talking so they are getting in trouble.  I gave him my best pep talk that they where just trying to break them down because that's what they are supposed to do & to stop worrying about everything.  Just take one day at a time.  I think I did my job because by the end of the conversation he was laughing when I told him about something one of our cats did.  I gotta tell ya I go on here and some of the comments seem like the guys are in summer camp having a great time.  Is anyone else's recruit have a hard time?

So sorry to hear this. Hope he can pull through with the support of you and family and his fellow SR's. My husband's doing ok. I can tell he misses us a lot. I know I could never do what he's doing so I tell him how proud I am of him and try to tell him anything to keep his chin up. I'll pray that your son will find his inner strength to make it though.

I'm so sorry to hear that. I too believe it's just to break them down. My SR is very homesick and mentioned that several times in his letters. He's staying strong, but to be honest there are probably tough times each of our SR's all go through. I pray daily for our Division that they'll remain strong regardless of their obstacles and will unite as one team. I too will say special prayers for your son too. Take care, we are all here to help each other!!
