JJ I think I saw Jody had put on facebook a suggested gathering date of May 16 at a location in Edina.  II will find the info and if I am correct I will put that on here.  I have 5 things happening that weekend so would not be able to make a lunch, but actually  I think she had a late afternoon time listed too.

Hope that Amanda had an awesome birthday last week.

Let's think about getting together on Armed Forces Day.  It will be after Mother's Day.  Anyone interested??

Midwest Navy Mom, I echo what JJ said tho I have only heard re-up once.  I am so proud of all of our young men and women serving our country.

Congratulations on the good news of your son. Our young men and women ARE the future of our Country and how proud we ALL are that they have decided to serve our Country. After many, many re-enlistments, as a Navy Mom, I can only tell you that each time I hear, "I re-upped", I am just as proud as I was when I heard, "I'm in the Navy now!" Once again, congrats!

A co-worker, also a military mom, suggested I read "Be Safe, Love Mom. A military mom's stories of courage, comfort, and surviving life on the home front" by Elaine Lowry Brye. Ironic because that day we learned our son's re-enlistment was official. So proud of him and happy he likes what he's doing!!
