Good Morning to Everyone.
Good morning all,
Anna , I sent you a private message about lunch.
I got some emails from Chrissy already. I am so happy to hear from her. She is so much more mature now.
She does the toes only too. I wouldn't say she is a girlie girl but she is definitely all woman! I am so proud of all my daughters being strong women. She does some modeling on the side when she isn't busy with the Navy. She is in a group in Virgina called "Bombers and Betties."
Chrissy didn't join the Navy out of High school. She joining at age 24, during her divorce. So she didn't get much discouragement. I did try to talk he rout of it, because of my bad experience with my father being in Vietnam. But once she said she was going thru with it I became supportive.
oops I forgot to say what the photo was - it is my grandson. He got his mom's picture off the refrigerator and went to sleep with it and his dad took the picture. His mom has been gone since sometime in March. He is almost 4.
Good Morning to Everyone.
Julyasmom, My daughters teacher actually tried to change her mind. He was one of her high school teachers and when she turned in her project that was to put her goals in a time line, he gave her a not so good grade because it had the military on it. She took that project to her counselor and they got a better grade out of it. He was told he couldn't do that. LOL. But she got a lot of grieve over joining from teachers. Most were support of but there were some.
Anna, Found out yesterday that she could be called up as fast as next week. There is only 20 people out of work and there is a need for electricians. So she could be starting really soon. Also found out that the class starts out with 100 people. So she has a good chance of working soon.
Blondie, had a very safe trip. It was nice out and we ate at a park too. Hope your weather gets warmer for you. We are back to our rainy weather again, so my knees are killing me today. Oh well. We really don't get a lot of sun anyways. We take what we can get.
Everyone have a wonderful day.
