Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 229 and 230

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello Everyone with SR's in 229 and 230. My son is in 230. He will be going to Pcola for CTN Training. That is Cryptologic Technician - Networking, I believe.

My son will be doing the same. He is also in 230..looking forward to graduation 7/2/15!!

It would be nice to get to meet some other parents when we are there.

Hey brendap...sent you a message explaining what a CTN is and what they do. Hope it helps. :)

Hi everyone!  My SR is Ship 13 Division 229.  He's a Nuke & will be going to GC for A School.  Looking forward to meeting some of you.

My SR is Ship 13 Div 229 as well. Nice to finally see someone in his group. Mine will be heading to Texas for A school.

So far it seems like you & I are the only 2 moms from 229.  Are you planning on going to PIR?  What will your SR be doing?

My son is also in 229 and going to GC.

Yes. We will be at PIR. So excited! I think we are going to try to make it to Sarge's meet and greet too. My SR is going into Master at Arms. I think it's kinda like police training.

Hello! Hope everybody is doing well.  My son is in Division 230.  He will be heading to Groton, CT after PIR, which is kind of funny since that was my first duty station 24 years ago. Wonder how much it has changed.

My son is in DIV 230 as well.

Its amazing that he will be able to go where you were. I love to hear that!

I think mine is going to pcola after graduation but not quite sure yet. It may be CT too.

Looks like my son is heading there after PIR too. Hes in div. 230. We thought he was going to pcola but looks like CT :)

LS_BM_MM  Thanks for that...it does help me to understand what a CTN does.

Hi coachgirl32 - nice to meet you
