Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 197 and 198

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

i have been remiss at posting anything on this page...i've been working, volunteering and sick.  i hate that i haven't been "in the group"...but i hope all of your sons are doing well.  my son is 19 and in 197.  has anyone heard how their division is doing?  is there anyone in this forum last name lee, from los angeles?  i have heard from my son multiple times.  i am so excited to see him in a few weeks i can hardly stand it.  we are driving up from north carolina.  (ugh)...but the most exciting part is that we are surprising him with his brother.  his brother was in boot camp exactly two years ago and has been stationed in bahrain for two years.  i am so excited to see both of their faces (together)!

If you friend me I can send a picture of there div I found. All are in clear view.

I sure would like the pictures too!  I will friend you!

I'm div 198:(. Do u know if there are pics of them? I don't have fb.

Yes there are about 40  pictures of our divisions SR during the blood drive. We cant post it here though. There is a group and a couple of a row  that were not included in the group and some individual SR. I might be able to email the group.

I received a letter today from my SR! It was dated March 14...too funny. he must have been tired! One thing he mentioned is they had a drill inspection Wed. 5/13 and his division "blew it out of the water"! They got a 4.7 out of 5.0! He sounded, again, so upbeat and positive.

I attached the latest questionnaire that I sent earlier this week! Hope all of you get letters too!

Whoo, hoo!
Look up Armed Services Blood Drive Great Lakes Div 197/198 on Facebook it is the 5th picture. There are about 50 guys clear, mine is in the picture but did not give blood, at least not pictured giving blood.

Thanks for letting me know. I saw the picture. I think my son is leaning down. I can't tell.

I have a question. If we go to meet and greet do I need the car pass for that?

Nope, The meet and greets are not on base and are sponsored by individuals or the venue.

Thank you.  I guess I have no idea where the meet and greet will be.  I'd better find that out.  Do you have any idea?
