DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

N4M's Community Guidelines
and
OPSEC.

~OPSEC OPerational SECurity, is always of the utmost importance.

~N4M’s also has Community Guidelines just like any other social media.

~Please take the time to read the OPSEC and N4M’s Community Guidelines.

~A quick note here, from the N4M’s CG’s:

• Don’t Jeopardize the Safety of Our Sailors: Remember OPSEC (Operational Security) (Don’t Sink Ships With Loose Lips) This site and all content posted on it are viewable to everyone on the Internet. This doesn’t mean you can’t share things about your Sailor – but too many details can put Sailors in harm’s way. The following are examples of red flags and should not be shared within this community either by posting or sending via a Group message:

• Sailors’ last names. This includes your username if you share the same last name as your son or daughter.

Some Suggestions:

~If your last name is different from your Recruits it is still not recommended for you to use in your username for your own personal security. This is your option. It is also not a good idea to use an email address as your username for personal security reasons.

~First Names and pictures of your Recruit are allowed but remember, everyone can see it and someone can easily match them up with their "mom". So you might want to consider changing your profile picture to not include your Recruit at least for the duration of BC. Again, your option

~It is also a good idea to make your settings for your Profile Page "viewable only to your friends"

Hello!

"Many, O Lord my God, are Your wonderful works,

which You have done; and Your thoughts toward us

cannot be recounted to You in order; if I would

declare and speak of them, they are more then

      can be numbered."

Jessie: I do not have an exact date for them, nor can we post it here (private message only) if I did, but I do know that they will not go until early during PIR week. Some of the other divisions will start Thurs night the week before. Be sure to read the BattleStations discussion above in the Forum for more general info!

Good Morning Everyone!  Hope you have a great Memorial Day Weekend!

Does anyone know the date of battle stations for div 202?

Comment by mikesmom on May 23, 2015 at 1:18am
CatMom 509. Thank you, its a decision of duty station location. Im not sure he knows he can have 3 choices! He has chosen a job already. But being on the top in A school is an incentive. Prayers for much wisdom and blessings. God bless you.

mikesmom,

Is he trying to choose a rating (job) or where he wants to be assigned?  He can put in a "wish list" of 3 duty stations, but it is the Navy who places you where they need you.  You "might" get a choice if you are 1st or 2nd in your A school class!!  That is the motivation to do really well there--aside from knowing your job training inside and out!!  :)  Praying for your SR as he looks for confirmation in all the choices available~~

CatMom 509. Perfect some scripture for my SR. He wrote and said he's still waiting to decide where to be stationed and listening for clear direction from GOD. I'm resting in GOD'S faithfulness. I'm sending him this word as an encouragement while he waits. Thank you again for such timely words of wisdom. Have an awesome day!!!
