ALL guests over the age of 2 MUST be on the Access List in order to enter the Drill Hall. See http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp and PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend. he message from Captain W. Douglas Pfeifle, Commanding Officer at the RTC, about the limitation on guests can be found at http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/index.asp (click the link once you get there).

Q-2 Yes, you can meet your Sailor at the airport. See PIR Day and Liberty During PIR Weekend.

Hello ladies I'm a new MA mom a little lost what to expect the day of graduation and the day after graduation. I'm hoping one of you can help me if you've already gone through graduation with your sailor.
Q-1 has anyone attended your sailors BC graduation recently? If yes, do you know if they would allow my 13yr old to attend the graduation ceremony if she is not on the list of guests?
Q-2 Do you if we get to see our son the next day after graduation before flying out to Texas for his A class ?
Q-3 Is is there a graduation or ceremony at Texas once he completes A class ?

Thank you to anyone whom can help :)

Is there anyone at Ohare with their sailor waiting with them to leave?

He'll be able to tell you which gate to meet him at.

Comment by lemonelephant on May 22, 2015 at 1:23am

kjh926!, He will have to meet you at the gate and get a pass for you to be able to drive on base. Yes, everyone will be able to visit. Make sure everyone has current government issued photo ID and that you have your car registration and proof of insurance. There is a parking lot right there.

Hi All! Just heard from my MA "A" School son in SAT and he said we can visit him (we don't live too far from SAT).  Does anyone know how we get on base? Has anyone done this?

My son is looking into those questions as well.  We mentioned bringing Gma and Gpa and his brother and he suddenly wondered "Im not sure how many people I'll be allowed to get on base!" Do any of y'all know this? We'd be 5.

Thanks for any advice you can impart!

MA mom of KY, check out Break down week by week. Yes, there is a graduation ceremony, but it is NOTHING like PIR.

Sorry we graduate BC 6/12/15 and I am assuming she will go on Sat. to SA. She is MA.
