We are in the same boat, as our son also left on the 20th. I'm trying to stay really busy so that time will go by quickly!

Good Morning from beautiful NC.   My son left May 20.   The call was about 10 seconds.   Now I'm hoping for the box tomorrow and can't wait to get the form letter so we can plan for graduation.  This is a great site and I'm enjoying meeting other moms in the same "boat" as me.   Have a happy Memorial Day.    This year seems really special/sentimental.

My son also left 5/20 for boot camp. Also eagerly awaiting the letter.maldo, I'm really grateful for this site. I've learned a lot already, but there is so much I don't know!

My son also left May 20 for boot camp. I am so thankful for meeting a sweet lady at MEPS that shared this site with me. This site has kept me busy and answered alot of questions. My son is the 1st of my children to leave home so this was really hard for me. Very proud but missing him greatly......

My son left on May 20th as well. We got the call about almost 11pm that night.
My daughter left on the 20th also. I'm so glad I found you guys. I'm kinda a mess. She is my best friend and I'm having a hard time not knowing if she's okay. I'm also trying to stay busy. Waiting by the mail box today. I hope my package and a letter comes today !!

I echo your comments! I'm so glad to have this connection with all of you. My days are consumed with wonder and I cannot wait to get that first letter knowing he's ok. I'll send you a friend request so please stay in touch!

Great. Thank you !!
I revived a fed ex door tag today. It's my daughters package. I requested them to return today. I hope they do. Otherwise I have to wait until tomorrow !!

I just got THE BOX!!!!! Nothing but his "stuff", but it was contact! I almost kissed the FedEx guy!!!

Yeah. I'm hoping for mine today!! It came fed ex! Good to know. Was his phone in the box ?
his phone would have been in the box, however he lost it on the bus from the airport to recruit center. so we had his clothes, his plane ticket, itinerary, phone charger, and headphones! Lol!
