OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

I'm getting so anxious. Although I've missed my SR tremendously, the time has really flown by. Can't believe we'll be getting on a plane to see him next week! Have you all rsvp'd for Sarge's Meet and Greet? Are you doing goodie baskets? I really need to get on that ASAP.

I am interested in the Meet and Greet. Just now getting focused on ribbons for PIR and decorations for hotel door. Where did I miss the RSVP to the Meet and Greet? Table decorations? Talked to the our SR today. He was so jazzed with all the freedoms this weekend. He is excited.

Got it! That is awesome. I'm getting on Pinterest now! LOL My son says he'll be in GL for A school. He's been bummed the whole time because his recruiter told him he could pick a job when he got to basic, but they stuck him with cook and told him he couldn't change. That's a whole other story. I told him to do his best at whatever he's confronted with and things will work out for him in the end.

That was great advice. Our boys are at battle stations right now. I have been praying him through it. I expect we will be getting calls tomorrow afternoon. My sailor is staying at GL also. I am taking his ski stuff to him. There are slopes 40 min. away. I even found white boxers for under those uniforms! He will be thrilled!
