I'm struggling with this website too and haven't had a lot of time to try to figure it out.  I did see on my page that you friended me! I think I read that Dakota is going to Pensacola for A school?  Jake is going there too for Aviation Mechanics!  :)  If they do have the same PIR date we should maybe try to meet!

JakesMom, I left info on AM on your My Page.

That is awesome!  I will let you know as soon as I know her PIR date.

My son left yesterday too, from NY.  It's nice to meet Mom's going through this at the same time.  I also have faith that he will do great, but I worry about the first few days for him.  It's going to be a huge adjustment.  He seemed to be well prepared mentally.  I hope he really is.

Same here. I just pray for him, cry for myself, and connect with all of you.

My son left today from St. Louis, MO, 5/27. Just got my scripted phone call at 7:30, which seemed pretty early compared to the other posts that I have read.  I will be there at PIR. Can't wait to see him.

My son left on the 26th too. He will be fine. Me? I'm not so sure. :)

We are there with you !  :(   kerry9396

Yeah it is one day at a time here. I am definitely going to graduation. I wouldn't miss it for the world. I am so proud of him.

My son left Tuesday, May 26th also out of San Diego, Ca.  I didn't realize how hard this was going to be.  I am so heart broken.  I know he's going to be a better man and this is a great thing he is doing, but I am so sad.  Everything is still in his room..still washing his clothes...dreading packing his things away.  Can't stop crying  :( ..

@MissingMyKing. My god girl, I am right there with you. His car is out front, his clean clothes are in his basket, and I can't bring myself to throw out the jug of koolade he drinks. I have cried and cried until I am sick. I wish I could hug you and we could cry together. My husband sent me this picture on facebook the other day, I will see if I still have it, because it fits this situation perfectly.

Thank you so much!  It's comforting to know there are other mothers out there feeling the same thing.  Because I seriously think I won't be able to survive this right now.  Wish I could hug and cry with you too!  Please send the picture if you find it...  **hugs**
