Thanks GrandmaBarB - I'm not fretting - my son is a nuke in the reactor division so I know he is plenty busy (as they all are)!  He was able to email on the underway last week & he said he hoped to be able to email this time out....I did get a text with a couple of pics when they pulled out....I'm just curious to see if the rough seas are affecting him in any way!

B'sNukeMom......

Don't fret.  When they are out there, they are working hard for at least 12 hours a day....and are simply too tired for much else except some food and sleep.  He'll be in touch when he can.

Hi all - Happy Monday & Happy 1st day of June!

Was hoping to get an email from sailor over the weekend, but I know they are very busy.  I saw on the Truman mom's FB page that they've had rough seas and a number of sailors have gotten seasick.  I'm anxious to hear how my sailor is doing lol!

Hi I'm new to N4M's. I'm super excited about my son Navy experience and future. This is a whole new world to me. He seemed to like his first underway experience. Can't wait to hear about this one!

Hi all - Happy Hump Day!

I saw some pictures on the Truman FB page - looked for my son but didn't see him :(  They were doing some fun stuff up on deck - working out, running, hitting golf balls.  Hopefully some of you will spot your sailors!

Hi all - Happy Tuesday!  Got a couple of emails from my sailor over the weekend - so glad he finally got his email account set up ;-)  He sent me a couple of pictures too - glad things are moving along for them. He sounded pleased with things....

Happy Friday! Got my RED on today ;-)

BoomMom - glad your son's eye surgery went well.  And BZ to him on his promotion!

Happy Memorial Day - have a good weekend!

Well, my son had PRK eye surgery on Monday so will be missing the rest of the fun this week on the ship... BUT, he was notified that he is on the promotion list.  That was a surprise as he was told it is hardly ever done with your first exam and only 6 months on the ship.  He was so excited.  I hope all sailors are doing well in this busy time onboard.  Have a great rest of your week and long weekend.  God Bless those who serve.
