My son left Tuesday May 26th as well. He left from Ft Jackson Sc. My heart is full of pride,I miss him so much! Hes my baby the last of my 2 to leave the nest. Hes my only son too such a mommas boy!!!! I can't think about him or talk about him without tearing up!!!!
I miss Alex so much. I checked out the Facebook page and scoured the pictures, but I didn't see him. I would probably feel a little better if I could just see his face.

That would be great to see them in a photo.  I'm wondering how long it takes for them to start having drills so I can start looking for his face!

They should start PT on Monday

Thank you!

That is if they are finished with P-days and they should still be on P-4 on Monday if the division filled on the 26th, so no, they will not start PT yet. See Arrival and What Happens at the RTC.

There have been pics of recruits still in P-days at times. You never know where the PAO will be.

My son also left May 26th with his best friend. Its been a very emotional week. My son's 21st birthday is 6/2 and I'm so upset I won't be able to spend it with him.

I was reading up on where the A schools and found out that Alex's schooling will all be in the Great Lakes. I am in Florida and that is going to be tough since he will be so far away. God help me. I feel like a big part of me is missing.
I know how you feel. I am in Missouri and my son will be sent to Connecticut. It's horrible. I get one day with him before he is taken way again

Alex's_Mom, at least you will have extra time with him PIR weekend.

Leave a comment on my My Page with his rating or field and I will give you info and groups for the rating.

Hi Mom's! After reading through everyone's comments.... It's so good to know I'm not the only one feeling this way.I miss my son so much and it's only going to be a week tomorrow. Right now I can't imagine 7 more weeks and then another year of A school! The not knowing and the question of "how are you holding up"? Ugh!
Knowing I'm not alone is comfort to me. Thanks ladies!
