Airmom10, I use flat rate priority, most take about 2 weeks. The last one I sent took 3. That never happened before.

My son has just arrived in Guam and I'm wondering how long it takes for a package to reach him if I send it by US mail.

Looking for mom of Shane. Our sailors have become good friends and he is in many pictures and videos that I'd be happy to share.

Hello all. My name is Jenny and my son has been in Guam for about a year now.  Just found out about this group and I think it will be great information.

Hello all, I am currently living on Guam with my husband who is active duty. Just wanted to answer the question on here about the car... Cars are easy to find here, especially this time of year because many people are PCSing off island and willing to sell their car for a good price. There are lemon lots on both the Naval base and the Air Force base. Once your son leaves the Navy will ship his car to his next duty station.

I hope this helps! If you have more questions feel free to ask. We've been here for a year and we love it!

I was scared too when my son moved so far away, but is so happy and loves what he does.  He tells people he has the best job in the world.

Does your son have a sponsor?  When my son went he had a sponsor and that person was responsible for picking him up at the airport and getting him settled in the barracks.

Next time  my son  calls I'll try and remember to ask him about where to get a car.
