Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 263 and 264

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Glad to hear you heard from your son. I'm new here, first time Navy Mom. My youngest son is on 263 also. Got a letter from him this past week, he's good, eating organic food & hanging in there. Hope to hear from my son also.

                                                    God Bless Everyone,

                                                     A. Lopez' s Mom

There were women in my oldest son's division and he said their racks were across the hall. Quite a few women were honor recruits at his PIR in 2013.

Hey there! Happy Sunday!

Got a call from my son in 264 yesterday as well! He also said he doesn't get alot of time to write. But he sounded good & said they are eating well... alot of salads! He's in a mixed division too. It was so great to hear his voice!

Was the site down this morning? I couldn't get on...

Where are you all staying for graduation? We are staying at Red Carpet inn.

For my oldest son's graduation (PIR) we stayed at the Spring Hill Suites in Waukegan and I loved it but this time we will be staying at the Ramada Inn in Waukegan. We're bringing my youngest son's girlfriend with us. Have you RSVP'd for Sarge's Meet & Greet? I heard from a Navy Mom at my church that it is worth attending and that he gives very good tips.

No haven't rsvp'd... are you going? Is it like a big party, alcohol, etc?

Sarge gives a very good description of what its' about. My husband and I don't drink but it looked to me more like a buffet and a presentation about PIR. He also talks about people doing baskets representing their states that are raffled off to help cover expenses. Read his post and it should answer any of your questions.

I will check it out! I looked once a while ago, but forgot about it!

No call and no letters lately... ☹ But his girlfriend has gotten like 2 letters a week! I guess its good that he's writing to someone, though it's not me! This is really so hard for me to get used to! My kiddo leaves and is physically out of my daily life, and its suddenly obvious that I am second fiddle to a 17 yr old girl who would hardly give him the time of day 6 months ago!

Sorry, just venting! I'm missing my boy and wish id get another phone call, letter, something! maybe today...

I feel your pain I have gotten two calls but my son's girlfriend gets all the letters. I guess we just have to face the fact that we have to share!

Good morning! Anyone here? Not many posts to this group!

Happy 4th of July everyone!
Would my SR be able get a calling card at BC? I wasn't thinking of any like tha when I wrote him. Still haven't heard from my son yet, he is in 264 as well, a body else who did not hear from their SR yet?
