Mary Ellen, I bought a serger last week and was just playing with it-good Lord it makes sewing the pillowcases so much easier and faster!!!  I can hardly believe it!!  Of course I'm just using the thread that came with it, haven't tried changing the thread yet!!

Happy Anniversary to Heads at Ease.  Today marks 7 years since I began HAE, all because of moldy peach muffins! Pillowcases were plan B.

Who knew they would be so popular and 7 years later HAE has made and sent over 58,000!  AWESOME job!

Happy Birthday Amercia!  I love this heart because it reflects the greatest of this country, which it still is.

New numbers added!  Wave 2 to the Essex is done.

New numbers added!  AWESOME!  I have just posted some thank you notes from the USS New York.  Check them out.

Some notes have come in from the Essex and I get caught up on those this week.

Lots of rain at my house since Saturday and I am rejoicing because we are in a drought and can use the rain!

Keep sewing!  thanks!

I am back from my travels!  On the flight out of Milw, the captain announced that we had a special group traveling with us.  They were new recruits, Army, I think on their way to boot camp.  I am happy to report that the plane gave them a rousting applause.

Check out the note from our POC in the Essex thread.

Thanks Mary Ellen!!  I may have to look into one.  I have yet to figure out how to use my embroidery machine, perhaps today I can play around with it!

I have one and love it, it makes doing pillowcases a lot faster. I have a singer 4 spool and it's great.
