nuke wife/mom - just bumped an oldie but goodie discussion in the forum above: look for one entitled "Your Sailor's Schedule Upon Arrival to
GC".  Lots of golden info there...

Good morning everyone!  My sailor just arrived at GC early Saturday morning.  I know they started Indoc yesterday.  I've been looking around trying to find info or what exactly is Indoc.  What happens, how long it lasts; any restrictions?

Can anyone point me in a direction to look or provide me with some info?

Navymom9241: I am also curious about vehicle use while at GC, and using other mods of transportation as well. Our sailor would like us to drive his old car to him, but that is months away. Meanwhile, can anyone share how other sailors venture off base, public transportation?

I just got my invite to EM class 1503 graduation.  Is there a limit on how many people each sailor can have attend??

NJ Navy Mom -- How about "Greatest Love of All" by Whitney Houston; a little cliché, but "A Song for my Son" by Mikki Viereck; "Do I Make You Proud" by Taylor Hicks; "93 Million Miles" by Jason Mraz

NJ Navy Mom, My son and I danced to Landslide Originally done by Fleetwood mac/Stevie nix, he used the smashing pumpkins version. I cried the whole time. I had never listened to the lyrics from the perspective as a parent.it really fit well. I can't believe that was 8 years ago!
Comment by TJ Proudnavymom on July 6, 2015 at 3:33pm

NJ Navy Mom I think I'd use either "He's My Son" or "Letters From War", both by Mark Schultz
