Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

LOL! You may want to narrow down that field a tad.

At great lakes division 269

There should be a separate thread specifically for that division on here. You probably want to ask that question there.

I think you want to go here

I have not even received an address for my daughter yet.  How do I know what her graduation date might be?

You will get a letter in the mail with information about PIR (graduation). It should come after 10 days to 2 weeks. It will include a password to get on base if you choose to drive there.

I have been fortunate enough to get 3 letters and a phone call so far!! The phone call came at the end of week 3 on Sunday afternoon, it was just what I needed- to hear her voice and know that she was working hard and doing well! She told me the only time they really get to write letters is after taps (10pm) or on Sundays sometimes.  She is really tired by the time they get to bed, so not really motivated to do much writing at that hour.  I hope you get a letter from your sailor soon.  Nanci
