So graduation is sneaking up on us and I'm beyond excited! But still have a problem, I'll be arriving at GL on Thursday 7/30 I have reservations for navy lodge 7/31-8/3 unfortunately they still have nothing for the night of 7/30 I've called other places to get reservations but the prices are just more than I'm wanting to pay 216$ a night is out of my budget :( should I just stay elsewhere for the first night there? And keep my reservations for navy lodge? By the looks of it Marriott is the only place that has something available for 7/30 and $216+ For one night is looking like that's what I'm going to have to do. Any ideas or tips would be great I've been calling navy lodge to see if anything has opened up since last month when I made my reservations but still nothing! I'm getting worried I won't have anywhere to stay that night before PIR lol any advice would be appreciated!

The first divisions in this PIR group that will go through BattleStations will go through in just a little over 2 weeks.

Comment by ellen0502 on July 7, 2015 at 5:17pm

SOof252, BattleStations for this TG is still a couple weeks away.

Comment by SOof252 on July 7, 2015 at 5:03pm

Does that mean that BattleStations might be next week? If anyone hears about a BattleStations date from their SR, please let us know. I would like to be able to anticipate the sailor call.

Comment by diannep on July 7, 2015 at 4:08pm

Stacey:  There are 6 actual training weeks....before training week 1, there are processing days which vary as far as number for each SR.  Those could last anywhere from a few days for some to close to 2 weeks, depending on when they arrive at Bootcamp.  Then after BattleStations, there are some extra days as well....sooooo.....Bootcamp is about 8 weeks long, give or take, but they are not training during the whole time.  They normally do BattleStations on 6-5 (training week 6, day 5) and call the next day (BattleStations is a 12 hr overnight drill).
