Was wondering if anyone had any info on the hull swap in San Diego.  I would like to fly out to visit my son while he is there.  This would be the first time I have gone to see him and would love for anyone with experience to give me some pointers!

Thank you so much!!!

We are going to San Diego for the hull swap. All the information should be given to you by your sailor. We had forms to fill out and sent back in for base access. Follow the GW page on FB and the GW Ombudsman page.

Hi Annette,

I tried looking for the form to be filled out and could not find it. I have not spoken to my son in a week so I'd like to get these forms out before we go. I already have the dates just need the access to go on base. Can you Please help.

Please go to USS GW OMBUDSON Page on Facebook for latest info about paper work and getting on base.
Sorry "Ombudsman "

Check the web site again. Some changes have been made.

PLEASE REMEMBER OPSEC - do not list dates/times or which base they will be pulling into.  The information will either come directly from your sailor to you and/or will be posted by the USS GW Ombudsman 24 hours ahead of port arrival.

Thank you,yes that is very important. We all need to be reminded of OPSEC,no matter how safe and protected a website is.

Thank you.

If anybody has any NEW news regarding the port arrival due to happen soon-please private message me and lets compare notes :)

Any families coming out to NASNI-see you Monday :)

Does anyone know where I can get the GW / RR hull swap coin? It's not the There Presidents Crew coin, it's the one just for the two.
