Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 291 and 292

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

Hello Ship 13 Div 292 Moms!!!  Hard to believe it has been 2 weeks yet at the same time it seems longer than 2 weeks.  I sure miss my son but I am SO proud of him.  I have been through this once before as my 2nd oldest daughter was in boot camp in 2013.  I can't wait to witness another boot camp graduation!  :)

Hi my new NAVY family.   Our eldest son is in DIV 291, can't wait to hear from him.  I leave my phone on 24/7 so as not to miss THAT call.

My boyfriend is also in DIV 291. I got a call on Sunday can't wait to hear from him again sometime soon hopefully!

It's all new for me. My boy is in Div 292 and I couldn't be prouder. I so look forward to seeing him graduate on 9/4.
I can't wait to witness another Navy boot camp graduation!! My daughters was 2 years ago and I still get goosebumps thinking about it!!! I sure hope we hear from our boys soon!! :)
We got two letters in today's mail, both in one envelope from our SR. The first letter was dated 7/10 and you could see in how writing how nervous he still was. The second letter was dated 7/17 and he sounded much more relaxed. He even said he is the Mail PO for his division and he loves the looks on his fellow SR faces when he can hand out some mail. He said he took the swimming test and he knows he is going to make us proud of him. So happy to hear from him, hopefully we get a phone call from him in the next few days!
Awe......I hope I might have some mail from my SR!!! So glad your son seems to be doing great!!! Sounds like an awesome boy to care about how passing out nails to others and seeing their reaction matters to him!!! I sure hope when I get home I have some mail!!!! Happy for you and the mail you received from your son!!!! I'm hoping we get a call this weekend too!!! :)

I also received two (short!) letters in one envelope today -- my first -- and happy to have them.  My son says he loves it, because with all they go through, "80 other people are with me."  :-)

Good morning all! Hope we all get some calls today!!
Good Morning!!! I hope we all get calls today too!!!! :)
Good Morning Ship 13 Div 292 Moms!!!! Every day is a day of hoping my son calls!!! Sometimes I think it's hard to be on this website as you see other divisions calling home and none for my sons division!!! As I said above I have been through this before so I understand how it works with phone calls and there are many reasons they may not have called yet but it doesn't make it easier!!!! Keeping my chin up as that's what my sons last words were to me when he made the call to say he got to camp the day he left!!!! Hoping we all get a call today ladies!!! :)

About 3:15 California time today, my first call (not counting "I'm here" and "send security clearance info") came from my SR.  :-)  I hope everyone else gets their Div 291/292 call today, too!
