gabbsmom1 (and any of our new moms)

I found a couple links to the bootcamp questionaire

http://navyformoms.com/group/pir82010/forum/topics/recruit-question...

http://navyformoms.com/group/octoberbootcamp/forum/topics/questionn...

and

http://navyformoms.com/group/bootcampmoms/page/letter-writing-fun-s...

In the middle of these discussion is the link to a couple "letters" other moms have made up.  The third link is to a bunch of daily quotes, encouraging comments and such that you can send to your recruit.  Basically these questionaire letters are questions you can make up and either give "multiple choice answers" for your daughter to choose or "fill in the blanks".

Keep in mind my computer couldn't open some of these because I don't have the version of word they need.  Hope these work for you!!!

Have fun!!!!!

hellraiser,

I couldn't help but get a good chuckle forming the picture of you standing there dripping, shampoo in your hair and enjoying every moment of those phone calls!!!!!  So happy to hear she is doing well.

roliesmom,

I'm not 100% sure but I think they can get priority packages at A school.  I know there aren't as many restrictions for schools as there is for bootcamp.  I'd say go for it!!!!!  It will be really good to have her home for awhile - yes, the time goes fast and there are LLLLOOOOONNNNNGGGGG periods of time until we get to see them again, but every visit is special!!!!!  Wish her a happy birthday from us Navy Moms!!!

Have a great weekend everyone!!!!

Hellraiser, happy to hear you got to talk to your girl. It's funny how things come to a holt when they're on the phone. Nice way to start the weekend!!

Lol, I don't know what happened to my message, my phone went all wacky. It should start out with:
Good morning all! My sailor will be stationed in Norfolk VA

Good enjoys having snacks morning having all!
My sailors w those eaill be stationed in Norfolk VA. She will be coming home sometime this month, yay!! I'm super excited but saddened all at the same time...super excited to see her but sad because I know it will be a long time before I see her again. I had high hopes she was going to be home by her birthday(the 12th) but now it doesn't look like it. So I will be sending her a goody package. She enjoys having snacks, for those early mornings or late night treats. Can they get priority mail in A school?
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
