Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Ship 03 (USS Hopper) Divisions 263 and 264 (Brother Divisions)

Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 263 and 264

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Yes my son was looking forward to going through the gas chamber also..I don't know what's wrong with them. We will see how they feel about it after!

Are any of your SR  IT rate? if so do you know when they will be shipping out? My daughter may have switched rates this week, I have been planning to get to keep her all day friday, saturday and Sunday, But with this change, I assume that isn't likely? what do any of you know? anything would be helpful, lol.

hello mom of navybaby, my sr's rs rate is IT as well, is your daughter also staying in great lakes for Aschool? if so then you should be able spend whole weekend with her

I have no idea... most people are telling me that a school for IT is p-cola. As of now I still have no idea!

My son called his girlfriend today and told her I should get a call Tuesday. I can't wait for that call I'm so excited he also told me where his home port is going to be...I'm really bummed about it because it's so far!Just a few more days ladies can't wait to see them all graduate!!!

Any of your SRs headed to Charleston for A school?

My oldest son went to A School in Goose Creek just outside of Charleston. Took him a while to get used to the summer weather (very humid, mosquitos, gators, etc.) but he loved it. He was in Nuke School and it is very tough and very disciplined. He made it thru and also finished Propulsion in Saratoga Springs, NY (Balston Spa, I think it's called).
