Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 943

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

I have RSVPd! I'm attending for my fiancé :)

There are pictures of Div 943 on the RTC page on Facebook!  I got to see my sailor!  :)

Where do I go to rsvp to the meet and greet ?

I found it under "Forums". Meet and Greet

I don't get on very often but I really enjoy the comments. I look forward to meeting you all at the Meet N" Greet. I know I have reserved transportation to/from airport to NL but am not sure if I have RSVP'd to Sarge's Meet N' Greet. Where do I find that?

I looked at several divisions on FB but didn't see 943. Area they in the random section? Are they mixed men/women. Are some of them in their Whites and some in Camo blues.? Just wondering if my SR is visible. Thanks!

Glad many of you could ID your sailor!   Tried to find our daughter and saw someone a LOT like her- but somethings weren't quite right- even downloading and zooming in on the photo- wouldn't you know it- can't see her name tag- ahhh!!!   Hopefully in a few days we can see another set of photos- seems like they take these about every 3-4 days and then also PIR.   I think some elements of 943 might start performing in senior graduation division PIRs starting Friday, 9/14- will start watching the video feeds each week.  That's a nice perk for Drill Division parents for sure!

Is there a website that we can view the PIR from 8/14? My son wrote that they would be performing but I didn't have access to the internet.

When I talked to my daughter last she said that when we see her at the graduation to make sure to bring her drivers license and social security card so she had it for A school. Just wanted to share for all the other moms to perhaps do the same
Got another letter today from our daughter. Super excited to hear she is doing good

Becky most Sailors fly out on Sat, they may have a flight on Sunday, but will not fly out on Friday (none of them do). Count on her leaving the RTC sometime in the wee morning hours Sat, sometime shortly after midnight, and her flight leaving sometime after 5: 30am.

You can go to the airport to meet her, and get a gate pass to wait with her until her flight leaves. She won't know her A School and flight orders until shortly before PIR.

Thank you very much!  That helps!  :)
