Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 313 AND 314

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

My son is also in DIV 314. I was hoping for a call this past weekend. Are they in the fire stuff this week? just when I think I am following along someone says something that makes me think I am off. lol 24 more days!!

kelli4812 I know how you feel. there have been times that I felt like an idiot. There are times that I just wouldn't post and tried to muddle my way through. I didn't get a phone call either and cried late sunday afternoon when I realized I wasn't going to get a call.

G.R.I.T.S I tried not to get my hopes up and keep telling myself no news is good news. Look forward to Thursdays, that has been my mail day.

Yeah me too!! The weekend before I got his first phone call I was so completely miserable. I told my husband sunday afternoon  that same statement " Maybe no news is good news". So late that night I got on the  Navy Moms website and was just pouring my heart out and one Mom told me to be patient that I would get a call when I least expect it then said quote " no news is good news". I got a release of peace. He called the next Saturday which I wasn't expecting him to call until sunday. NICE SURPRISE

My son sent his girlfriend a letter (DIV 313) stating that they would be calling on 8/29 between 4 - 6 pm.
Not sure if that is true, not sure if that is the whole division, not sure if that would mean Central time, not sure what it means at all, really.   Not sure how or why he would even know this and why he would put it in his letter to her and not to me. Oh well, guess we'll find out this weekend.

Has anyone else's recruit mentioned this in a letter or a call?  FIngers crossed!  But if it doesn't happen- DON"T shoot the messenger,  As I said- NOT 100% this is going to happen, but just in case- keep your phones handy!

I get my mail from my SR on Thursdays so I'll see what he says today hopefully. Either way man the phones!

Thanks KoryandJoshuasmom. My letter day has been Thursdays so Im hoping that I will get that same message. Cant wait until tomorrow

Div 313... Got a letter from my SR today! Says they're doing great and also said they will be calling Saturday btwn 4 & 6. Don't hold me to it, we all know things can change, but just in case.... Man your phones Saturday!

Thanks K&j'smom. Mine is Division 314. Im praying he gets to call.

Div 314...got a letter today and he sounds really good. He passed his test and he said I'm off on my count, that this week is hell week. He asked if I chat here with his division's mom. He's also eating fish, which never did before and he also said that 313 & 314 group picture will be on FB, just not sure when. I guess they were told that...can't wait to see him even a picture will do until 9/18...Hope everyone gets their letters today and hoping for a phone call this weekend...take care.
DIV 314..I also got a short but amazing letter. He sounds so good compared to previous letters. Very upbeat. Said he thinks he will get to call Saturday around 1600. So be ready he said. Lol. He also said that they were told that only the 4 guests that are on the list are permitted at PIR. They are not opening the chapel. All extras will have to stay at the hotel. Prayers that everyone gets letters today and keep your phones close this weekend. NMH....

Hey girls!! I got a letter too! Division 314. He told me that he should get to call this weekend as well. So praying we all hear from our SR's. Good luck to all.
