Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 943

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

So Great ! This is the 1st time I'm seeing the name of my sons ship ! Very cool.... Ok - so my phone just rang and it was not my son and I immediately started crying ....going nutz-anyone gotten a phone call from ship 2 div 943?
No we haven't yet either. I just hope we are home because the first call came to the home number . (In the age of cell phones all other numbers are in a contact list lol!) I really want to hear his voice even if just for a few seconds. I'm not even sure how it will come up on the caller ID since it is a calling card.

I can not wait to hear my son's voice as well. I am missing him like crazy. September 4th is not only graduation but my son's birthday. Can't think of a better birthday present. So ready to see him and get a big hug.

No, not yet. Really hoping we hear something Sunday. :)

no , not yet. going crazy too

Thanks for the heads up, hoping to hear from my son soon. :)

SomebodysMom--thanks for the heads up on the possibly phone call Sunday!  So anxious to hear my son's voice.  This lack of communication it what stinks - can't even send a quick "how ya doing" text.  I am so excited to see him on Sept 4th and hear all about his boot camp experience!  I scour through the RTC pictures on Facebook whenever they appear.  Hopefully I will be able to catch a glance of my son there!!  :)

Melanie, Send those texts even though your recruit doesn't have his phone. It will beep a whole bunch when he turns on his phone, and he will see all the love he got during bootcamp that he didn't get to personally experience. :)

Planning on having my phone glued to me on sunday.. 18 days - no call no letter ,felling discouraged and worried-Thank you for info on possible sun call
Any calls from 943 yet? Pir 9/4/15
No ! Sounds like maybe tomorrow ... Thats what im holding on to ...no letter either / If no call tom - pretty sure im going to lose my mind """
Still no call yet from our daughter but very happy for everyone that has received one from their child for sure. I love hearing they are doing good.
