Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

My SR is in Ship 14 Division 344. I miss him so much. I still cry everyday for him. I can't wait till I hear his voice again. Thank God for this site. I finally feel like someone understands how hard this is and I don't feel so alone. I hate when people compare this pain to sending your kid to college...it's not the same!

I agree I have sent two to college. You are able to talk and text often. This not knowing is really rough! My son was never big on "checking in" when he was away from home so I worry we won't receive much mail. I just want to know he is fine and all is going well.

My SR is in the same Ship and Div and I was doing pretty good, until he called me this afternoon. We had a good long chat and it was good. But when I got off the phone I really missed him. It is nice to come here and know that others are going through the same thing.

Well I am leaving this group. My son called earlier and is being discharged. They said he can come back in 6 months when he has some medical stuff cleared up. I am so heartbroken for him. This is his dream. Praying it can all work out. Good luck and God bless to you all!

My SR is Ship 14 and I got my letter yesterday! (Thursday) So for those that have not... hold on! It was so good to hear from him. Have not received a call yet but was so happy about a letter.
