Welcome to the Division Discussion for Divisions 339 and 340

These two divisions are brother divisions and will be training together from the beginning through BS21 their final test. Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions, and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

How was your son doing? Mine was pretty emotional so I'm not sure what to think. I hope it's only because he just really misses me and not because he is having problems. I can't wait to get his letters. Maybe they will give me more insight.

Got a call today division 340.

My SR son is in Div 340 & will ship to Pensacola to train as AET.

Got my first call Sunday afternoon, but his sister received first letter 8/26. He sounds good. For my social nightowl he says not being able to talk most of the day & lights out at 10 are the hardest adjustments and the food's not too bad!

We live in Phoenix area and plan to attend graduation 10/9 in GL. Any other Arizonans on here? I know there were 4 groups that shipped out from MEPS on 8/12/15. Look forward to meeting some of you then.

That's so great to hear! Are you able to get a straight flight from Phoenix to IL? I'm from California.

Praying we all get calls today! :)
My Div 340 SR called this am & I missed it. Hope more of you get to talk to yours today.

I hope we all get a call today! I haven't receive any yet today.

My SR is division 339 going to Mississippi for A school to be an Logistics Specialist and Groton, CT  for submarine school..love to get to know other moms with SR's go to these schools.

Any other SRs in Div 340 going to Pensacola training for AT Rating? If you wouldn't mind, please include your SR's initials & where they're from, as I would like to ask my SR if he hangs w/them so we can meet you at PIR. Thanks.

Hi Lnantucket!. My son is in Div 339 (your son's brother Div). His initials are F.V. He is going to Pensacola for IT rating. What's you son's intials? Hope our SRs will meet up.

Thanks leomom65. I think my SR, ES, has a rating of AT but not sure. No letter from him yet & a 4 min phone call since 8/12. I heard from his dad he's a section leader in his div. but idk much more.
