Welcome to the Division Discussion for Division 943

Your SRs, soon to be SAILORS, are becoming friends, and some of them may be heading to A School together.

Get to know each other, your SRs are!

Please still use the Main Wall of the PIR Group to post questions and concerns, we “veteran” moms don’t always get to into the discussion area as often as we would like.

Every single question that is asked is important

Every single concern is genuine

Every single member is important to us

We don't want to accidentally overlook any of them or you.

Hang in there!!!

DUH!   Just realized that 943 didn't do Battle Stations due to the PIR today.  I'm sure they'll hit it har Monday.   If we get a Sunday call about it from our kiddo- we'll post it asap

Thank you Facebook and Navy photographer. For making it possible for me to see my son.
Can't wait till next week.
Still having trouble with the feeds from earlier today.
I finally got to see the video after a bit of frustration. I watched on my phone at work! I love modern technology! My daughter is in the choir and I took several screen shots of the PIR today. The ones on Facebook were great, but the screen captures were specifically the choir. I'd be more than happy to share with anyone that would like me to email them. :). Can't wait until next week. I'm guessing I'll need a lot of tissues.

My son is a trumpet player and by the time the video worked they were done. If anyone has screen shots of them I would LOVE it if you would be able to share with me.  I did check out the Facebook pictures. The only picture I can see him has another players music is covering part of his face. :( The pictures this week are awesome though!

Nancy - I have 1 screen shot of the band. It's a little far away but if you expand it you may see your son. Sent friend request.

My son is in the choir too!  Luckily my live feed was up and running by the time they sang.  It was so exciting to watch them!  Can't wait for Friday!!

Wondering for 943- is it still - no news is good news ? Feeling panicked- my letter on thursday informed me that my son injured his knee and has been on light duty for 2 weeks - He was soon to be let off but scared he wouldnt pass his test because he hasnt ptd with the rest of his division... That would explain why I havent sent him playing tuba in last two graduations... Praying hes on track and still graduating next friday...no calls so far

This is a nail-biter!  Dying to hear how Battle Stations is going for 943!!!  Hopefully we get calls soon!

I am so dying here. I didn't sleep well last night and trying to work absolutely impossible.

im the same way !!! torture /im at work, trying not to think about it/ cell phone in my pocket-telling myself Im only allowed to check facebook post once an hour-there was a post that a mom received the "im a sailor call"and I about had a heartattac ! But it wasn't 943 _When we get that call we can all let out a long deep breath

I didn't sleep last night and can't focus at work. Hopefully the calls will come in soon!!

Still pacing the floors.  Anything yet?? Can't concentrate...
