Anyone have a sailor on USSGW currently on mini deployment?  I'm trying to find info on when they will dock in Norfolk. I haven't seen my sailor in 2 years and have to drive 8 hours to Norfolk but I'll move a mountain to see my daughter again.  can anyone help me find out what dates they will dock in Norfolk?  I heard Dec 18th.  I'd like to be on the pier when they arrive.  Can anyone help?  PLEASE!

Good morning, my son's squadron will also be joining the USS George Washington and I am wondering if this is an active group during their travels?
I would very much like information as to reaching their ombudsman to be added to the contacts & email listing. Any assistance is much appreciated!!

My Daughter will be joining the USS GW very soon.  I think they are flying her group out to Guam or Australia to meet up with the GW.    She is so excited what a fabulous time for her to be joining the Navy.  Air Craft carriers are all on the move and she gets to travel around and see the world... that is why she joined the Navy after all..   Cheers to you all !!  She is going sightseeing in Toyko today hopefully she will take some cool pics to send back to MN!!    The Time Change is taking a little bit to get adjusted to-  Best time i can text her is when I am getting up in the AM.    Thanks!

Hello to all! Wow, our sailors are pretty busy this holiday season, huh? I am new to your group; I'm a Mom from Rhode Island, going to spend this "black friday" as a BAKE Friday" and get some packages ready to mail...anyone know of any specific "adopt a sailor" addresses/projects on the G Dubb? I have been to mollys site but a mom on the RI site mentioned that GW might have their own too. thank you and thank your sailors for all that they do! patty
